Overview. Active and involved parents are one of the defining attributes of Sarah Smith. Our PTA mission is to build upon the school's tradition as an excellent neighborhood school by being an active supporter and advocate for it students, teachers and staff. We encourage parental involvement in the school and work together to further enhance the academic and social enrichment of our children.
The Sarah Smith PTA meets monthly (except in December). Meetings are generally held in the auditorium of the main campus and alternate between morning and evening meetings. These meetings are approximately one hour and include a business portion, principal's message and an informational program or classroom presentation. We announce agenda topics and programs in the newsletter and/or website prior to the meeting. You are welcome to bring young children and we appreciate your effort to attend and be a part of your child's education.
A Message from PTA Co-President's Leigh Darby and Kim Sumlin.
