SuperStar Fund
What is the SuperStar Fund?
The SuperStar Fund is the annual fundraising campaign for the SSEF. Gifts to the SuperStar Fund from parents, grandparents, teachers, administrators, and the community fund over 65% of the annual SSEF budget. The SuperStar Fund runs from July 2011-June 2012. To make your gift, DONATE ONLINE HERE, or download the pledge card below to mail in your gift. Remember to maximize your gift by taking advantage of your company’s corporate matching program. Last year, the SSEF received over $13,000 from corporate matching.

Every gift makes a difference, and directly impacts the quality of education at Sarah Smith. We hope you will join us in supporting the quality education we have come to expect from our school by making a contribution to the SSEF SuperStar Fund.
**Donors of $1,000+ will be invited to a donor party in April and will be honored with a personalized brick in the SRS Legacy Walk.

2011-12 Fundraising Efforts
In 2011-12, the SSEF seeks to fund just over $250,000 in “extras” that make Sarah Smith a world-class school. A comprehensive list of all programs that will receive funding this year can be found in the Curriculum Narrative.
SSEF raises the funding for these outstanding programs primarily through the following channels:
SuperStar Fund - annual fund drive that runs from Sept-May
Auction - mark you calendar for March 16, 2002 for the party of the year.
SuperStar Supporters - businesses that partner with SRS (See Supporters page)
What your contribution will do
Through the financial support of parents, friends, and businesses, the Foundation enables our children’s teachers to create a strong learning environment, to find and implement the instructional programs that they believe are best for our kids, and to develop as experts in their field. SSEF funding also supports aspects of learning that shape character, critical thinking skills, and leadership skills through resources including the International Baccalaureate program. Without this funding, many of the programs that make Sarah Smith such a unique and successful learning environment would not be available.
