Our Mission
The Sarah Smith Education Foundation is a not-for-profit fundraising organization supporting the school’s pursuit of excellence in education. The funds we raise enrich the learning environment available to every classroom and every child at Sarah Smith Elementary. The generosity of our supporters allows us to offer a curriculum not available at any other public elementary school in Atlanta.
Want to Volunteer?
We welcome and encourage you to get involved with the SSEF whether it’s helping with the Auction, Annual Campaign, or joining the Board. For more information on joining the SSEF Board, please review the 2012 SSEF Board Announcement. Nominations for open Boad of Director positions are due by March 9, 2012.

A comprehensive list of all programs that will receive funding in 2011-12 can be found in the Curriculum Narrative.
This year, the SSEF will fund just over $250,000 in programs including International Travelers, Junior Great Books, High Touch High Tech, IXL Math, STAR Assessments for reading, SMART Phonics, International Baccalaureate Program, Future Problem Solvers, and Odyssey of the Mind.
