SRS Carpool and Safety Instructions
Parents, this is a new year and we all must commit to keeping our campuses safe for our children. Please review the following safety rules that apply for both campuses.
- Upon entering and exiting the school drive, RIGHT TURN ONLY between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. and again between 2:15 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Carpool tags must be displayed during afternoon pickup. Hang the provided tag from the rearview mirror with the number facing outward.
- Please teach your child their carpool number.
- No children should EVER be dropped off on Wieuca Rd., Old Ivy Road or Land O’Lakes Dr. DROP OFF AND PICK UP IN THE MAIN CARPOOL CIRCLE ONLY.
- Park on one side of the road on Land O’ Lakes Dr., Old Ivy Lane and Whittington Dr. so carpool traffic can flow smoothly and neighbors can safely exit their driveways and pass on the street. Never block a neighborhood driveway. Please be respectful of the school’s neighbors and their property.
- When entering the carpool exit/entry area, please watch the staff as they direct you. Watch for children walking across traffic lanes and watch for buses. No talking on cell phones in carpool lines, this is a CELL PHONE FREE ZONE.
- When you are visiting the school, please remember to sign in at the appropriate location and wear a visitor sticker at all times when you are in the building.
