We are excited about the great changes that are underway at Sarah Smith to help drive improvements in our kids’ wellness. The PTA Wellness committee has made an effort this year to promote changes through our SNAP program – Scheduling, Nutrition and Activity Programs.
•Scheduling – focuses on balancing energy and exercise throughout our kid’s day! Increasing the opportunity for activity throughout the day and addressing snack times.
•Nutrition – focuses on driving awareness of balanced nutrition and the impact it can have on kids learning and health.
•Activity – focuses on driving active choices through integration into existing PTA programs, creating new programs, and leveraging state and national programs.
