Willingness to Serve Process (Volunteer Needs)

Dear Sarah Smith Parents:
Please join us at our next PTA Meeting on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at 7:00pm at the Intermediate Campus, when we will elect our 2012 Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee will meet to determine the PTA Board and Sarah Smith Education Foundation (SSEF) Board for the 2012-2013 school year. The PTA Board slate will then be voted on by PTA members present at the general March 13th PTA meeting.
Serving on the Nominating Committee is an excellent way to support the PTA, SSEF and Sarah Smith Elementary. We will solicit names and elect the Nominating Committee from PTA members attending the January 17th meeting. Please note you need to be present at this meeting in order to nominate or be nominated for the Committee. You cannot serve on the Nominating Committee if you are interested in a PTA or SSEF Board position.
If you or someone you know are interested in serving on the PTA Board, please refer to the PTA Officer Nomination Form. Please take your time to review these positions, ask questions of those who currently serve and return completed forms to the “nominations box” in the PTA workroom at the Intermediate Campus by noon on January 30, 2012. All members of the Nominating Committee and candidates for PTA positions must be PTA members.
