Birthday Book Club
The Media Centers at the Primary and Intermediate Campuses are starting a wonderful new program called the Birthday Book Club (BBC). The purpose of the BBC is to provide special recognition to your child on their birthday while also helping to build the Media Center’s book collection. The cost to join the BBC is $20 per book. Benefits include:
- During your child’s birthday month they will select a book from the Birthday Book Club collection and the MC will place a bookplate inside the cover with your child’s name and birthday on it.
- Your child will have the privilege of being the first person to check that particular book out of the MC.
- During the birthday month, your child will be invited to the Media Center for a special birthday celebration.
- The book will remain at the Media Center and your contribution to the BBC will be recognized by every person that checks out that book.
If you are interested in having your student participate in the program, please fill out the BBC Sign Up form and return it to Margaret Gillogly at the PC or Kelly McQueen at the IC. If you have any questions regarding the BBC, please contact Cindy Bohntinsky.
