Kindergarten Round Up
The date for Kindergarten Roundup this year will be April 29, 2011 from 9am - 10:30am at the Primary Campus
Round-Up is for rising Kindergartners and their parents and occurs when school is in session. It is a great introduction to SRS and includes a tour of the school along with other fun activities:
- Board and sit on a school bus;
- Visit a classroom;
- Eat a snack in the cafeteria; and
- Play outside on the playground equipment.
Parent/Guardians are encouraged to bring their family calendar and checkbook/cash in order to coordinate, purchase and prepare in advance for:
- Volunteer opportunities - school, PTA and SSEF activities.
- Sarah Smith Spirit Wear - worn on all field trips and school spirit days;
- School Supply Packs - packaged school supplies for each student; and
- Super Buddy Program - sign up to be contacted by a current Kindergarten family who will coordinate a meeting with you and your child to answer any and all questions that you may have.
This is a great event and really gets the rising Kindergartners excited about coming to Sarah Smith!
