School - New/Perspective Student Info
Registration & Enrollment Requirements
Registration Days:April of each year or during the Summer if you have just moved to Atlanta.
Grades 1-5 - Registration materials packets may be dropped off at the Front Desk of the Primary Campus (K-2) or the Intermediate Campus (3-5) for new students.
Kindergarten - Registration materials packets should be submitted to the Primary Campus on the appropriate registration day, which are noted below. PTA volunteers and staff members will be at the Primary Campus during registration to receive packets.
If the parent/guardian is unable to provide all of the required materials to the school during the registration process, the child’s registration file will be classified Incomplete. Once the necessary information is gathered, submit it to the appropriate campus office to be added to the child’s file. Once the child’s registration requirements are met, his/her file will be classified as Complete and then he/she will be ready for class assignment.
New Student Registration Dates - Primary Campus:
- Last Names beginning with A-M, Thursday, April 14, 2011, 8:30 - 10:30am
- Last Names beginning with N-Z, Thursday, April 15, 2011, 8:30 - 10:30am

Enrollment Requirements
In order to enroll a student at Sarah Smith Elementary the bona fide primary residence of the custodial parent/legal guardian must be in the Sarah Smith district. Please see the Proof of Residency Requirements featured in the website for more information.

Class Assignments: Determined in the Summer.
For grades K-5, class assignments are posted in alphabetical order at the appropriate campus (Primary Campus, grades K-2 and Intermediate Campus grades 3-5) during the Celebration of Learning (COL).
